Dr. Roberts is a scholar practitioner, who created the Perpejulant Institute to be a knowledge management learning center designed to enrich the lives of people around the world, destined to become future leaders and contributors to the future of work.
The institute's website was designed to be a learning repository, chalked full of meaning data regarding the workforce of the future. We encourage viewers to investigate and ponder the website's content, so as to learn more about the workforce of the futuer, and how humans play a vital role in defining the future of work with emerging technologies.
The goal of the institute is to provide the best professional and organizational development offerings for the workforce of the future. Many of the institute's certifications were designed to help employees, practitioners, and students pursuing higher education.
The institute is grounded in experimental psychology, behaviorial science, and Human Performance Technology (HPT). Humans will play a pivotal role in the future of work and most of that role stems from human behavior and how it collaborates with intelligent technologies.
The word "Perpejulant" was created Dr. Kenneth Roberts while having a dream, and later denoting the meaning of the word having its origins from three words, perpetual, jurisdiction, and vigilance. Dr. Roberts rose from his sleep from what he recalls being an epiphany. Perpejulant, also known as Perpejulance, as defined by Dr. Roberts reflects a continuum of time, governed by boundaries, and housing an impulse to press forward in all ways related to a specific thought.
Since 2007 the word Perpejulant has been defined as a way to enrich the lives of countless workers in America, and now the Perpejulant Institute is poised to provide even greater value to people around the world.
Leadership & Strategic visionary
Dr. Kenneth E. Roberts Ph.D.
Dr. Roberts spent most of his career in corporate America and then made a smooth transition into small to medium-sized organizations as an executive focused on driving organizational performance. Having developed several proprietary tools to optimize workflow processes within private equity firms, Dr. Roberts continued to refine his unique blend of organizational development and change management procedures which accelerated enterprise performance for several executive teams. Known as a thought leader and an assiduous researcher, Dr. Roberts continues to contribute to the field of management practice and procedures through his publications. Dr. Roberts believes the future of work will be defined by intelligent resources integrated into functional platforms. As a transformational leader and certified performance technologist, Dr. Roberts has a track record of aligning strategic initiatives with long-range goals and initiating robust systems of accountability. Working diligently to analyze and enhance executive priorities, Dr. Roberts assist leadership teams gain a deeper understanding of distinguishing factors within their competitive landscape. Dr. Roberts believes in accelerating performance by using a driver-style management approach and operates with the highest degree of integrity and ethics. Dr. Roberts is admired by his peers and cohorts.

Teaching philosophy
Dr. Roberts harnesses a teaching philosophy evolving from his academic pursuits and corporate experiences at IBM, Xerox, and Hewlett-Packard. Dr. Roberts taught courses at Colorado Technical University and has facilitated seminars, workshops, national recognition events, and thought leadership panels within his field of study. He defines the role of teaching as follows:
- Providing a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging students to stretch toward new knowledge.
- Building a foundation of academic rigor.
- Developing future leaders, scholars, and luminaries.
- Encouraging continuing research and exploration.
- Enabling learners to re-define the edges of creativity, innovation, and design-thinking.
Dr. Roberts believes learning is an interactive process predicated on the establishment of required core competencies. He believes learning is a linear process transitioning from easiest to most complex thinking. He believes in building strong foundational components early in the learning process. Dr. Roberts empowers students to demonstrate competency by performing task outlined in course materials. He encourages mastery of material, but not at the expense of neglecting core-competencies. He believes teaching needs to be inspired in order to transfer knowledge in a manner that excites and motivates learning. Dr. Roberts defines education as the link between innovative leadership and extraordinary performance. He recognizes how education can be a significant equalizer and his goal is for students to become inspired learners delivering knowledgeable benefits within their chosen professions. Dr. Roberts subscribes to a practitioner’s teaching philosophy, where students apply what they’ve learned in class, to real world challenges. Dr. Roberts purposefully lectures to disseminate knowledge.
